Questions about medication review & follow-up
Can I stop my medication on my own?
Please don't stop psychiatric medication suddenly. Some medications need to be reduced gradually. Changes should be made with your provider.
Can you take over my prescriptions from another provider?
Yes. After an evaluation, ongoing medication management can continue with Cognis Psychiatric Services.
What should I bring to a medication review?
A list or photos of all medications and supplements, doses, and any records from previous providers.
